Gautam Adani and family to infuse Rs 9,350 crore in Green Energy arm

Billionaire Gautam Adani and his family will invest Rs 9,350 crore in Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) to achieve a 45 GW target by 2030. The investment will be used for deleveraging and accelerating capital expenditures. AGEL has a locked-in capacity of 20.6 GW, a power purchase agreement (PPA) tie-up of 19.8 GW, and a land parcel of 2 lakh acre. With the funds infusion, AGEL remains favorably positioned to achieve accelerated growth. AGEL board of directors have approved the preferential issuance of warrants to the promoters.
