Centre lines up steps to boost e-commerce exports

The government on Thursday announced extension of the scheme to refund duties and taxes to e-commerce exports through post and courier and said it is planning several other steps to ensure that Indian goods sold through this route make a dent in the global market that is currently dominated by China. βTo enable the MSME sector in getting the RoDTEP benefits, particularly for the exports through e-commerce, the government will be extending the RoDTEP benefits,β commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal told reporters.
