CareEdge Ratings forecasts the dollar-rupee exchange rate to appreciate to approximately 82 levels in 2024, supported by factors such as a weakened dollar, robust Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) inflows, and a favorable current account deficit. The rating agency also anticipates the RBI to cut the repo rate by 50 basis points in 2024.
