Tata Motors to split cars, commercial vehicles business

Tata Group, India's top conglomerate, plans to split its automobile business into two separate listed entities. The commercial vehicle unit will be separated from the passenger vehicle arm, which includes the profitable Jaguar Land Rover. Following this move, the group will have four automotive entities listed on the stock exchange.
