'Won't stop Skoda consignments': Customs to HC

The Bombay high court was informed by the customs department that it will not halt the clearance of Škoda Auto Volkswagen India's consignments while the $1.4 billion duty evasion case continues. Škoda challenges the showcause notice, arguing its import of parts falls under a different classification necessitating independent assessments.
