Pakistan and Russia have agreed to jointly develop a rail and road network, aiming to connect South Asia with Central Asia and Russia, providing landlocked nations access to warm-water ports. This strategic move seeks to accelerate regional infrastructure projects, enhance trade, and promote economic integration. Pakistan and Afghanistan have also agreed to expedite the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan rail project.
