Eight of India’s top-10 firms mcap tumbles: Rs 2.24 lakh crore wiped off; Reliance, HDFC hit hardest

Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank faced the most substantial declines. TCS and Hindustan Unilever were the only firms to register gains during this period of market downturn.
