Sunday, 10 September 2023 Congress leader Jairam Ramesh challenged the central government to screen the film 'Jawan' at the new Parliament building, just like they screened 'Gadar 2'. 'Jawan', featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara, has been a box office success, earning over Rs 100 crores in two days. Ramesh tweeted, asking if the Modi government would have the courage to screen 'Jawan' as well. Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2' was previously screened for Lok Sabha members.
Superstar Shah Rukh's much awaited film 'Jawan' finally hits the silver screen today. βJawanβ is directed by Atlee, and alongside Shah Rukh also features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi,Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles.
