Animal becomes highest-grossing film in Canada

Ranbir Kapoor's film 'Animal' is running rampage at the box office with record-breaking collections. It has become the highest-grossing Indian movie in Canada and Australia, earning $4.75 million and $6.14 million respectively. Surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', 'Animal' is now the highest earning Bollywood film released overseas. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action-packed drama has also set a new benchmark at the global box office, accumulating Rs 817.36 crore in just 16 days. Despite facing criticism for its portrayal of a misogynistic and violent storyline, the film has been enjoying an undisputed run at the box office.
