Oscars Shortlists: Barbenheimer leads race

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences shortlisted several films for Oscar nominations, including Greta Gerwig's "Barbie," Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer," and Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon." Other notable films that made the list are Jonathan Glazer's "The Zone of Interest," Yorgos Lanthimos' "Poor Things," and "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse." In the international feature category, films like TrαΊ§n Anh Hung's "The Taste of Things," Lila Aviles' "Totem," and Aki Kaurismaki's "Fallen Leaves" were shortlisted. Additionally, the shortlists included various original songs, documentaries, and visual effects contenders. The final nominations will be announced on Jan. 23, and the 96th Oscars will take place on March 10.
