'Salaar' globally mints Rs 650 crore

The mass action film 'Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire', directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, released on December 22 to positive reviews. The film has grossed over Rs 650 crore at the global box office in just 11 days. On New Year's, it made Rs 15 crore in India alone. Despite the end of winter holidays, the film is expected to have a good run until Sankranti. 'Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam' is scheduled for release in 2025 after Prabhas completes shooting for 'Spirit' in 2024.
