Pongal 2024: Dates, History, Significance - Know All About The Special 4 Days Of Festival

Hundreds of wildlife enthusiasts gather to watch elephants being fed a special feast of fruit and sweets as Tamil Hindus celebrate the Pongal harvest festival. Pongal is a multi-day affair dedicated to the Sun god Surya which is celebrated across several communities in southern India.
