Daneil Craig was to feature in Rang De Basanti

In his autobiography, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra revealed that Daniel Craig auditioned for a role in "Rang De Basanti" as the British Jailer James Mckinley. However, due to scheduling conflicts and Daniel's potential role as James Bond, the part ultimately went to Steven Mackintosh. The film remains a classic in Indian cinema.
