The trailer for 'Maidaan', starring Ajay Devgn, was unveiled in Mumbai on Thursday, marking the film's long-awaited release after a five-year delay. The event saw the entire cast and crew celebrating the true story of Syed Abdul Rahim, an unsung hero in Indian football history. Despite facing setbacks such as the Mumbai Cyclone in 2019 and the challenges of shooting during the global crisis, producer Boney Kapoor expressed gratitude for the team's resilience. Director Amit Ravindernath Sharma acknowledged the frustration caused by the delays but praised the team's dedication. With a talented ensemble cast and a compelling storyline inspired by true events, 'Maidaan', produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, promises to be a cinematic treat. Scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on Eid 2024, the film is set to captivate audiences with its powerful narrative and memorable performances.
