Despite briefing her father beforehand to avoid making things awkward due to Jackky's non-army background, her father's paternal instincts led him to ask direct questions. During a lunch conversation, Jackky's response to her father's inquiry, "Whenever she is ready, I am ready," resonated deeply with Rakul's father, earning Jackky his approval. The couple's lavish wedding festivities commenced at the ITC Grand Hotel in South Goa on February 21, featuring traditional pre-wedding ceremonies such as haldi, mehendi, and sangeet rituals.
