AR Rahman, renowned for his three-decade-long career in the film industry, has accumulated numerous awards. He revealed that his mother stores his international honors, including the Oscar, Grammy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe, wrapped in a towel, believing them to be made of gold. His Indian awards are housed in a dedicated room in Chennai, although some haven't reached him as filmmakers have kept them as souvenirs. Reflecting on his international wins, Rahman shared that his late mother wrapped his awards in Dubai, thinking they were gold. He later moved them to Dubai's Firdaus studio. Most of his international accolades stem from the soundtrack of Danny Boyle’s 'Slumdog Millionaire', with the song 'Jai Ho' becoming a global sensation, elevating Rahman to worldwide acclaim.
