Alia recalls her acting exercises during ‘Udta Punjab’

While discussing the preparation she had done for 'Udta Punjab', Alia stated, “Roles that have any sort of dialect or body language involved like 'Udta Punjab' did. I did a one month prep for that. Vis-a-vis the Bihari dialect, the twang and I didn't speak much in the film so that one monologue also that I speak I actually just rehearsed that for one month.”
