'Flow' becomes first Latvian film to win Academy Award

Latvian filmmaker Gints Zilbalodis won his first Oscar for the wordless animated feature 'Flow', which tells the story of various animals surviving a catastrophic flood. Made with Blender software, the film's visuals and lack of dialogue mesmerize viewers. It marks the first Latvian nomination and win, adding to its accolades from the Golden Globes and other awards.
