Thursday, 15 June 2023 The mother of a 19-year-old boy stabbed to death in the Nottingham attacks has paid tribute to her "beautiful boy" during a vigil for the three victims.
A vigil is being held in memory of 19-year-old students Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Barnaby Webber and school caretaker Ian Coates who were killed in Tuesday's knife attack in Nottingham.

The parents of Grace O’Malley-Kumar have blamed “failings” in the system for a series of stabbing attacks, including a sword attack in Hainault on Tuesday and a school stabbing in Sheffield on Wednesday. Grace’s father, Dr Sanjoy Kumar, said “positive change is so long overdue” after a 14-year-old boy was killed in Hainault and three teenage boys were admitted to hospital in Sheffield following the attacks.
