‘His opinion’: Kamal Nath after Rahul Gandhi calls ‘item’ remark ‘unfortunate’

Facing flak for his "item" jibe about Madhya Pradesh minister Imarti Devi, state Congress chief Kamal Nath has expressed regret and claimed that he did not say anything disrespectful. While Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said earlier in the day that he did not appreciate the kind of language Nath used, Nath maintained that he would not apologise. Nath claimed the word "item' is used in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, but the BJP tried to "mislead" by making it an issue to divert people's attention as it is sensing defeat in the November 3 bypolls in Madhya Pradesh.

'World’s biggest party has no CM face': Tejashwi Yadav mocks BJP; dares Nitish

Mahagathbandhan's CM candidate Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at BJP and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar. Tejashwi mocked BJP saying that the world's largest party does not have a CM face. The RJD leader said if he's inexperienced then why are they using full force against him. "BJP is the largest party in the world but they don't have a CM candidate," he said. Tejashwi added, "I have been an MLA, Leader of Opposition and also held deputy CM's post. My five years of experience is equivalent to 50 years of experience." Earlier, Tejashwi challenged Bihar CM to debate on any of his achievements in last five years. The RJD-led Mahagathbandhan in Bihar comprises Congress and Left parties. BJP-JDU alliance has agreed upon sharing 121-122 seats in the assembly polls. Bihar elections will be conducted in three phases starting October 28. Results of the state assembly polls will be declared on November 10.

‘No anti-India slogans will be raised in JNU’: Adityanath at Bihar poll rally

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday forayed into battleground Bihar where he asked people to vote the NDA back to power, drawing upon Prime Minister Narendra Modis mass appeal and the BJPs ability to walk the talk on Ayodhya, Kashmir and Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. This is Modis India, where even chants of Bharat Tere Tukde Honge (India may you go to pieces) inside the JNU campus will not be tolerated, said Adityanath referring to the students protests of 2016 which left many activists booked for sedition. He also harped on Modis welfare measures like the Jan Dhan scheme, the Ujjawala Yojana, the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and housing for the poor. Watch the full video for more details.
