22-year-old follows Brigadier dad to Army, wins Sword of Honour
The passing out parade (POP) held at IMA on Saturday was special for Mihir Banerjee. The 22-year-old not only realised his childhood dream of following in the footsteps of his father, maternal grandfather and uncle and elder brother by joining the Army, but also won the prestigious ‘Sword of Honour’, an award presented to the best cadet.
