India slams China for blocking proposal to designate 26/11 planner Sajid Mir 'global terrorist'

India on Wednesday came down heavily on China after it formally blocked a proposal to designate Lashkar-e-Taiba's (LeT) Sajid Mir as a 'global terrorist'. In it's response to China's move, India said that it had 'strong reasons to believe that something is genuinely wrong in the global sanctions regime as manifested in the Security Council'.
