UP: Held for abetment to suicide, IPS officer sacked from service

Manilal Patidar, a 2014-batch IPS officer who was accused in a case of abetment to suicide during his stint as the superintendent of police in Mahoba district, has been dismissed from service. He happens to be the first IPS officer from Uttar Pradesh to face dismissal, officials said.
