More than 5 crore cases pending in courts in India

The Union government has informed the Parliament that more than 5 crore cases are pending in all the courts across the countryResponding to the question of DMK MP Tiruchy N Siva, Union Minister of law and justice (independent charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal on Thursday said that as on July 14, there are 60.62 lakh cases pending in the high courts and 4.41 crore cases pending in the district and subordinate courts.
