Schools, colleges to remain shut in Mumbai on Thursday as IMD issues `red alert`

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Wednesday said that the Indian Meteorological Department’s regional centre in Mumbai has issued “extremely heavy rainfall warning” (Red Alert) for Mumbai city and suburban area from 8 pm today till Thursday afternoon.
