Centre silent but INDIA will heal Manipur: Mamata Banerjee

Those in power may stay silent, but INDIA would heal all wounds and rekindle the flame of humanity in Manipur, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said on Sunday, urging residents of the violence-torn state to embrace peace for the sake of humanity. Banerjee's comments came on a day a 21-MP team from the opposition bloc concluded its two-day visit to the state and a day before she is scheduled to address the Bengal assembly on the continuing violence in the northeastern state.
