Wednesday, 2 August 2023 Buoyed by the resounding victory in the Karnataka assembly election held in May this year, the Congress has exuded confidence about winning at least 20 of the 28 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. A meeting to review the preparedness of the Karnataka Congress was held in the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters on Wednesday. Party president Mallikarjun Kharge, former MP Rahul Gandhi, Rajya Sabha MP K C Venugopal, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and deputy CM D K Shivakumar among others were present at the meeting.
