CBSE instruction to schools: Observe August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day

The CBSE has written to all its affiliate schools to observe August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day and organise an exhibition each to mark the occasion. In a letter to school principals, the CBSE said the Centre had announced that August 14 would be annually observed as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, and that educational institutions may do likewise.
