Hike in financial aid for schemes to help ex-servicemen, kin
Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Friday approved a substantial hike in financial aid across various schemes aimed at welfare of ex-servicemen and their families. The assistance under the vocational training grant scheme for widows of ex-servicemen has been increased from Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000.
