Violation of prohibitory orders: HC quashes FIR against Sukhbir Badal

The Punjab and Haryana high court has quashed an FIR registered against former deputy chief minister of Punjab and senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal in Amritsar observing that continuation of criminal proceedings shall amount to an abuse of the process of the law.
