Now, Maoists must snitch before surrender in MP

The Madhya Pradesh government on Friday issued a new surrender and rehabilitation policy for Maoists — the first update in 23 years. The revamped policy has been designed with insights from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and a study of the Maoist surrender policies of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It came into effect on August 22, 2023.
