UP Cong on saffron path to counter BJP?

To counter BJP's Hindutva card, the Congress, too, seems to have chosen the saffron path in Uttar Pradesh. To begin with, on August 24, when the party's newly appointed state president, Ajay Rai, took charge of office at UPCC headquarters in Lucknow, the event was marked by reciting of vedic hymns followed by a symbolic Ganga Aarti.
