Man, 30, throws infant to ground after kidnap bid fails

An infant sleeping next to her mother on a divider within Shahjahanpur railway station premises in UP was picked up by a 30-year-old man who flung her to the ground after he tried to abduct her late Wednesday night. Her mother, Vaishali, 25, told local police that hearing her infant's cries, she woke up and to her horror saw a man grabbing her 8-month-old daughter and walking away.
