84-yr-old man on bike dies after falling into open drain in Chennai

A lethal combination of open drain and stray cattle has claimed another life in the city. Jayaraj, 84, who was riding back home after buying milk early on Monday morning fell into an open drain at Ullagaram near Nanganallur and died of head injuries. Residents of the area say he may have panicked when stray cattle suddenly crossed in front of him and lost control of his bike.
