Gujarat govt announces relief package for farmers in districts affected by floods due to Narmada river

The Gujarat government has announced a special relief package for farmers affected by flooding caused by the overflowing Narmada river. The package will provide financial support to farmers who have incurred 33% or more loss of crops. For non-irrigated crops, affected farmers will receive Rs 8,500 per hectare, while for irrigated crops and horticulture, they will receive Rs 8,000 in addition to Rs 17,000 per hectare.
