AIADMK insists there is no alliance with BJP

The AIADMK spokesperson, D Jayakumar, has reiterated that there is no alliance with the BJP, despite a delegation meeting with the BJP's national leadership in New Delhi. A meeting of senior functionaries, MPs, and MLAs has been scheduled for Monday, where decisions regarding alliances for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are anticipated. The announcement comes amidst a deepening rift in AIADMK-BJP relations, particularly due to remarks made by BJP Tamil Nadu president K Annamalai against former chief minister C N Annadurai.
