Mumbai: AI-based face recognition cameras to catch criminals at key CR stations

Central Railway intends to deploy cameras equipped with an AI-driven facial recognition system across 117 stations within its network. This comprehensive initiative encompasses 76 stations that are integral to the suburban system. According to railway officials, the implementation of these cameras will serve as a deterrent to illicit activities and contribute to the bolstering of passenger safety.
