Tension in Kanpur Dehat after vendor 'pours' tea over boy

Communal tension broke out in Kanpur Dehat after a teenager dressed as a member of Hanuman's Vanar Sena was poured with hot tea for allegedly picking up a banana from a fruit vendor's cart. Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists and Bajrang Dal volunteers demanded strict action against the culprit. The fruit vendor was arrested and booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The situation has been brought under control with heavy police deployment. Authorities have appealed to the public to avoid spreading rumors about the incident.
