Alliance with BJP: JD(S) Karnataka president hints at quitting party

CM Ibrahim, the state president of the JD(S) in Karnataka, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the party's alliance with the BJP. He stated that he will decide on his future course of action after meeting with like-minded individuals on October 16. Ibrahim mentioned that leaders such as Sharad Pawar and Nitish Kumar have reached out to him. He also emphasized that he would consult former prime minister Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy before making any decisions. Several JD(S) leaders have resigned following the alliance announcement.
