Attacked by mom and bro, pregnant woman, 19, dies

A 19-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh, India, died from her injuries after being set on fire by her mother and brother when they discovered she was pregnant. The victim was taken to a forest where her throat was slit and she was doused in petrol before being set ablaze. She suffered severe burns and was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries after five days of intensive care. Her mother and brother have been arrested and will be charged with murder.
