Tamil Nadu: EPS rules out patch-up with BJP

AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami stated that his party will not revive ties with the BJP and will face future elections with its own alliance. He expressed confidence in winning all 40 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Palaniswami also denied that the AIADMK had asked the BJP to replace its Tamil Nadu president and clarified that the split was due to incidents that had hurt party cadres. He criticized Chief Minister M K Stalin for failing to secure Tamil Nadu's share of Cauvery water.
