Depressed over divorce, man immolates himself in Rajasthan

A 23-year-old man in Jaipur, identified as Gaurav Gehlot, committed suicide by immolating himself at a cremation ground. Gaurav had a love marriage in 2021 which ended in divorce, leading to a decline in his mental health. His partially charred remains were identified by a ring on his finger. CCTV footage showed Gaurav heading towards the crematorium with a can, leading the police to suspect it was a petrol can. Gaurav had left a suicide note expressing his wish to be left untouched after his death.
