Hyderabad Cricket Association bans 2 cricketers for 5 years over age fraud

The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has imposed a five-year ban on two junior players for using forged age certificates. This is the first time HCA has detected such fraud. The players will be removed from the squad and criminal cases will be lodged against them. The HCA CEO emphasized that this action sends a message to parents and coaches that age fudging will not be tolerated. The HCA also hopes that authorities will investigate the source of these fraudulent certificates.
