13-year-old tortured & killed, mutilated body found in cane field

A 13-year-old girl in Lakhimpur Kheri district was found dead in a cane field after going missing on her way home from a madrassa. The girl was brutally tortured before being killed, with her mouth gagged with mud and her eyes pierced with sugarcane stalks. An autopsy has been conducted to determine if she was sexually assaulted. Police are investigating the case and have registered an FIR against unidentified individuals.
