'PM Modi was for BJP-Sena re-alliance, Sharad Pawar foiled plan'

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 17 October 2023
Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed a positive response to a re-alliance between the BJP and Shiv Sena, but Sharad Pawar prevented Uddhav Thackeray from breaking away from the MVA alliance. Kesarkar mentioned that Uddhav had a separate meeting with PM Modi regarding the re-alliance. However, MP Sanjay Raut leaked this information to Sharad Pawar, which led to the alliance not materializing. Kesarkar criticized Uddhav for joining hands with socialist parties and accused him of abandoning the path of Hindutva.
