NMDC’s Bastar steel plant won’t be privatised, says Amit Shah in Chhattisgarh
Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured the public that the National Mineral Development Corporation's (NMDC) Nagarnar Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh will not be privatized. The Congress party has been protesting against the move to privatize the plant, which was built at a cost of approximately Rs 20,000 crore. Shah also criticized the Congress-led Chhattisgarh government for alleged corruption, and promised to make the state Naxal-free if the BJP is voted into power.
