Azharuddin, 2 others booked for Rs 3.85 crore HCA fund misuse

Four criminal cases have been filed against former office bearers of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), including former Indian captain Md Azharuddin, for alleged misappropriation of funds amounting to Rs 3.85 crore. The cases involve the purchase of cricket balls, fire safety equipment, gym equipment, and bucket chairs for the RGIC stadium in Uppal. The accused have been charged with criminal breach of trust, cheating, forgery, and criminal conspiracy. The cases were filed based on complaints lodged by the HCA CEO, who claimed that the accused misused funds during their tenure.
