NIA arrests absconding PFI member from Mallapuram in murder of RSS leader Srinivasan
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Shihab, a member of the Popular Front of India (PFI), in connection with the murder of an RSS leader in Kerala. Shihab was on the run since the crime took place and was traced to his residence in Malappuram. The NIA alleges that he was part of the PFI terror eco-system that orchestrated the murder. This arrest comes after another accused, Saheer, was apprehended in May. The NIA had previously filed a chargesheet against 59 individuals in the case.
