Why rapid rail is right fit as Delhi-NCR gets bigger
Sunday, 22 October 2023 Delhi has transformed into Delhi-NCR over the past 30 years, becoming the world's second-largest urban agglomeration and driving the Indian economic boom. The recent launch of the Namo Bharat rapid rail is expected to further enhance connectivity between Delhi and its satellite cities, making commuting easier and potentially expanding the definition of the NCR. While building rapid rail is expensive, it represents the next chapter of Delhi's evolution and will facilitate the growth of the megapolis as an economic hub.
