Chemical engineer-turned-drug lord from Gujarat arrested

A former pharma employee and chemical engineer from Surat has been arrested in Aurangabad for running a narcotics empire. The police and revenue intelligence agencies seized 23,000 liters of chemicals and a large quantity of drugs, including 23kg of cocaine, 17kg of mephedrone, and 4.3kg of ketamine. The estimated value of the haul is Rs 500 crore. The suspect primarily distributed cocaine in Mumbai and other drugs in Ratlam, Indore, Delhi, Chennai, and Surat.
